Sandhit Foundation is a group of young professionals working together to innovate ways to educate and empower two highly vulnerable groups, often shunned by society.

A grassroots organization, Sandhit Foundation mobilizes volunteers from three states, predominantly West Bengal, Sikkim and Maharshtra to create impact on the ground.

At the core of its operations, it values destigmatising addition and promoting employment opportunities for the literate youth of the country. Sandhit Foundation works with both urban and rural youth and their families in three states.

At the core of its operations in the first year, Sandhit Foundation is focused on identification and rehabilitation of one of the most ostracized groups in Kolkata, West Bengal- Heroin addicts who have fallen out of the circuit of society and had limited/no access to knowledge or correctional resources.
